About MathCalcTools

Free math and STEM calculators built to teach the method, not just hand over a number.

MathCalcTools is a small library of free math and STEM calculators. The idea is simple: when you run a calculation, you should see how it was done.

Most online calculators give you a figure and stop. We take a different line. Every tool here pairs the answer with the formula it used and a short worked example, so the square root tool shows the radical factoring, the quadratic solver shows the discriminant before the roots, and the slope calculator walks from two points to the full equation of the line. That makes the tools useful for checking homework, studying for a test, or just refreshing a method you have not used in a while.

How we build the tools

Each calculator runs entirely in your browser using standard mathematical formulas. Nothing you type is sent to a server. We round results for readability and, where a neutral reference helps, we link to sources such as Wolfram MathWorld so you can read further.
